December 21st, 2007 was Christmas celebration day at ABTS. It started off with a time of fellowship over breakfast bringing together ABTS community of students, faculty and staff along with the larger family of the Lebanese Society for Educational and Social Development and the Dar Manhal Al Hayat publishing house teams; and ended with an evening program prepared by the students.

ABTS Community of students, faculty, staff and families went on a retreat in the peaceful town of Dhour Choueir where God blessed them with a sunny warm weather to enjoy their time off together. The theme for event was "relationships" and included relevant sharings by Rev. Ghassan Khalaf (ABTS President), Father Samir Bechara (Jesuit priest) and Dr. Issa Diab (ABTS Faculty).

ABTS holds on to its promise to the people of Deir Mimas and so continues to organize monthly visits - team and students - that include attending Sunday service and spending a time of fellowship at the Deir Mimas Baptist Evangelical Church. This relationship was built when families from Deir Mimas were displaced during the recent horrific 34-day war and sought refuge at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary.
